Contact

We read every message that lands in our inbox. Controllerdrop covers personal finance, credit cards, loans, credit scores, budgeting, and debt management, and your questions help us decide what to write next. If something on the site confused you or you spotted an error, tell us.

How to Reach Us

Send your email to [email protected]. A clear subject line helps us route your note to the right person, so try to summarize your topic in a few words. The more detail you share, the more useful our reply can be.

What to Send

Most messages fall into a handful of buckets. Here are the ones we handle well:

  • Article feedback: Point out a section that needs more depth, a number that looks off, or a topic we skipped.
  • Content suggestions: Tell us which credit, lending, or budgeting questions you want answered in a future post.
  • Corrections: Flag a typo, a broken link, or a fact that no longer holds up.
  • Partnership questions: Reach out if you write in this space and want to discuss working together.

Response Time

One person reads the inbox, so a reply usually takes two to three business days. During busy weeks it may stretch a little longer. We answer thoughtful questions before form-letter pitches, so a specific note tends to move faster than a generic one.

What We Cannot Help With

This is the part to read closely. Controllerdrop is an education site, not a bank, lender, card issuer, or credit bureau. We do not have access to your accounts, applications, balances, or credit files, and we cannot change, dispute, or look up any of them.

If you need to check a balance, dispute a charge, reset a password, or ask about a loan decision, contact your bank or lender directly. The phone number on the back of your card or your monthly statement connects you to the people who can actually act on your account.

We also do not offer personalized financial advice over email. We can explain how credit utilization works or how a secured card differs from an unsecured one, but we cannot tell you which product to choose for your situation. For decisions that fit your full picture, many readers consult a licensed financial advisor.

One more note for your safety: never send account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive details in your message. We will never ask for them, and you do not need them to get a helpful answer from us.
